My Clients and Testimonials
The Shaolin lifestyle teaching from the Temple has changed countless of lives. Here are some of the testimonials of our apprentices, including celebrities and highly regarded figures in the world
"My Daughter has been practicing here for about a year and it's helped her immensely in all areas. We originally brought her to help her concentration, but this is helping her evolve into a whole and balanced person. I need to sign up too - eventually."Via Yelp
"I have to add a review before I forget. This is a one week experience review. I have started the program the Grand Master offers here last week. To say it is the most fulfilling experience of my week is an understatement. It's all about the mind and the body. it feels like all of your issues are left at the door when you enter the temple. I currently practice Wushu and meditation and Qi Gong (he also recently introduced us to the next level of Qi Gong, which is Tai Chi. Many health benefits). All genders and all ages you will see here. I could not have asked for a better place to settle and practice this from 0. No experience whatsoever. It's pretty dope. I thank God everyday for putting this temple in my awareness."Via Yelp
"Zen. Giving. Tai Chi. Meditation. Yi Jin Jing. Traditional Eastern Medicine. Herbal Therapy. Breathing Exercises. Martial Arts. And more.... I met a friendly monk. He invited me inside, however, when I realized it wasn't just a place for prayers... I decided just to stay nosey standing at the open door. Not such a big place, however, spacious. Clean place with vibrant decor. Also, a small store (closet-sized) on site with ancient Asian secrets."Via Yelp
"My 6 year old son goes to the school and loves it. we are incredibly lucky to have an actual shao lin monk training him from an early age. in addition to great exercise and conditioning, he gets lots of wisdom, caring, grit, principles, and the like. also - i like that it is a traditional type school where he is building a stong foundation. he isn't learning to beat up other kids at all - only building his strength, dexterity, constitution, and wisdom. "Via Google
"Venerable Shi Yan Fan's legacy and accomplishments are incomparable - even on a world wide scale. To be training with him is such an honor and I feel blessed and humbled every day coming to the Shaolin Temple to practice. He is an absolute rock of perseverance when it comes to diligence of the mind and body and he has undying focus in passing this strength onto us, his students, with firmness, patience, and love. The training here is not for the faint of heart, but the state of the body upon beginning the training here doesn't matter to master Shi Yan Fan as long as a commitment has been made in the mind. I will say that what sets the Shaolin Temple apart, I feel, is that here, I'm not just training my body, I'm training my entire life. Eternally grateful to Shifu. Amituofo."Via Yelp
"The only place in LA you'll find traditional Shaolin Kung Fu training and philosophy. Venerable Abbot Shi Yan Fan is kind and welcoming. The community is supportive and enriching. You'll learn internal Chinese medicine and contemplation techniques. Above all: you'll learn patience. What are you waiting for?"Via Gosogle
